For me, progress towards keep a simple seasonal nature notebook means trying something manageable, then noticing what I need to change.

Review what worked and adjust the pace

I want insect observation to stay enjoyable rather than become another obligation. I am comfortable being a beginner and saying I do not know.

This is the outcome I would like to work towards. I would welcome someone who enjoys stopping to look closely; I will decide the next commitment after the earlier steps.
