Privacy Policy

We process account details such as your name, handle, email address, profile photo, sign-in provider, and preferences. We also store the wishlists, wishes, reflections, messages, comments, reports, and other content you choose to create or share.

When you choose a photo, camera capture, or proof feature, we process only the media you submit. Location or image metadata is processed only when you deliberately attach it to a wish or proof flow.

We record limited technical and product activity needed to operate and protect the service, such as account and session identifiers, device or browser information, IP-derived security signals, feature interactions, referral attribution, crash information, and timestamps.

WishTree does not currently include third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell personal information.

We use information to authenticate you, deliver wishlists and social features, upload your selected media, personalize feeds, send requested notifications, measure reliability and feature use, prevent abuse, investigate reports, enforce the Community Guidelines, provide support, and comply with applicable obligations.

You choose whether a wishlist is private, shared with invited people, or public. Public profiles, posts, and wish outcomes can be viewed and shared by others. Private and invited content is limited according to the access controls shown in the product.

We may disclose information to infrastructure, authentication, storage, security, and support providers that process it for us; when required to protect people or the service; or when legally required. We do not permit service providers to use WishTree data for their own advertising.

We retain account data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and meet legitimate legal obligations for the service. Safety records, fraud-prevention signals, backups, and de-identified aggregates may remain for a limited period after deletion where necessary.

You can delete your account inside the iPhone app under Profile → Settings → Delete account, or in WishTree web settings. This removes the account and associated service data through our deletion process. You may also contact hello@wishtree.network for help with access, correction, export, or deletion requests.

We use access controls, encrypted network transport, managed authentication, request validation, and monitoring designed to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your sign-in credentials and tell us promptly about suspicious activity.

You can change profile visibility, discoverability, notification preferences, and content visibility in product settings. Camera, photo-library, and notification permissions can also be changed in iOS Settings.

WishTree is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to this policy, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy as WishTree changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how information is handled.
