First, each person keeps control of their own drawing. Then we ask separately about sharing it. Permission to draw together is not permission to publish. Would keeping the pages with their makers suit everyone?

I am interested in the company, less in producing a polished result. Would that fit? My plan has to fit this: I work some weekends.

I would keep the invitation more modest than the enthusiasm. I want to keep “Draw imagined gardens with friends” manageable for the people involved. It would fit the small version I have in mind. We can enjoy making an attempt without promising a polished outcome.

I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends. I have tried making a little space for shared cooking; the difficult part was keeping the session small enough to repeat.

I would like to invite friends to draw gardens on reused paper, each choosing what belongs in their own design. We can combine copies into a shared picture only by agreement. This can be creative time without needing land, water or new supplies.

I keep thinking about your plan to draw imagined gardens with friends. Would a brief first attempt tell you more than another round of planning?

For this attempt at “Draw imagined gardens with friends”, honest encouragement would help. Practical suggestions are welcome too, provided we leave room to decide against them.

For this wish, Kiri Temari: Please leave room for someone to have a less positive experience too. I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends.

I would want to hear that without defending every choice. People can share an afternoon and come away wanting different things. That is how I see “Draw imagined gardens with friends”.
