That is worth agreeing before the soil is touched. We can choose a small patch and ask what each person can manage. If the care is not manageable, a smaller corner would be kinder to everyone.

I would enjoy talking about the attempts afterwards. I am not sure about joining the activity itself. I work some weekends.

I hear the reservation. I am not asking you to commit just by replying. I want to keep “Plant a shared flower corner with friends” manageable for the people involved. That is a useful distinction. A conversation afterwards can be its own invitation, without requiring someone to take part in everything.

Mele Tahi, I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends. For me, I work some weekends.

I'd like friends and family to help plant a few suitable flowers in cleaned reused containers at home. We can share spare plants, agree who waters them and sit together afterwards. I want to enjoy the corner as well as care for it.

On “Plant a shared flower corner with friends”, I would welcome a welcoming cooking group. Is there something comparably small that another person could offer you?

For this attempt at “Plant a shared flower corner with friends”, honest encouragement would help. Practical suggestions are welcome too, provided we leave room to decide against them.

Mele Tahi, no promises, but maybe.

On “Plant a shared flower corner with friends”, I would keep the extra ideas somewhere separate. One manageable attempt gives the bigger ideas something to learn from.
