Yes, I think they'd be lovely. Could we try a tiny pattern first? Mine may turn out more enthusiastic than symmetrical 🙂 No need to buy matching sets.

Could someone join for only the first part? I would not want to disrupt the plan by leaving early. My plan has to fit this: I have limited room for equipment at home.

I would like room to change the arrangement after the first attempt. I want to keep “Make bead patterns with friends” manageable for the people involved. I would plan a natural stopping point and say clearly which parts depend on everybody staying. Leaving should not become a personal explanation.

I would also like to make a reusable map from materials I already have. For me, I have limited room for equipment at home. I work as a carpenter, and I have limited room for equipment at home. The help I would welcome is a patient practice partner. I am trying to leave enough room for the ordinary parts of the week, so I would rather compare one modest attempt than agree to a bigger commitment before I know it fits.

I'd love an afternoon with friends making colourful bead patterns from supplies we already have. We could swap designs and make one small piece each. No need to call it a business. I'm quite happy to call it Tuesday.

For this wish, Ruby Martin: My own aim is to make a reusable map from materials I already have. Which part of your plan could we compare without assuming they are the same activity?

I would keep “Make bead patterns with friends” as one small invitation. A different version of a related wish could teach us something without either of us copying the other's whole plan.

Ruby Martin, I would try a smaller version of my own first. Then we would have something concrete to compare. I would also like to make a reusable map from materials I already have.

Marta Niță, that seems a sensible way to continue. We can compare actual attempts later without turning this conversation into a promise that either of us has already finished.
