I would rather read it once together and see what lands. A little rehearsal might follow if everyone wants it. I am not keen on turning the living room into a theatre with attendance requirements.

I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends. For me, I work some weekends. I work as a small-business owner, and I work some weekends. The help I would welcome is a welcoming cooking group. I am trying to leave enough room for the ordinary parts of the week, so I would rather compare one modest attempt than agree to a bigger commitment before I know it fits.

I'd like a few friends to join my wife and me for a short comic scene and vegan tea. Scripts in hand, comfortable chairs, no need to memorise every line. The houseplants may serve as a suitably restrained audience.

I would change whatever makes joining harder without adding much to the experience. The main wish can stay; the arrangement does not have to be fixed. That is how I see “Read a comic scene with friends at home”.
