Make enormous paper flowers just for ourselves

Sol Rivera

I'd like friends to join me making oversized flowers from clean reused paper. No workshop brief, no funding report—just our own glorious paper jungle. We can decide together whether to display it at home and who wants credit for each bloom.

Enormous paper flowers are going to take up a lot of room.

True! We should agree where the bright monsters will live before they bloom across the room. And whose work is in any photograph? Making together does not make everybody's contribution mine to post.

For this wish, Sol Rivera: I am interested in the company, less in producing a polished result. Would that fit? For me, I rely on public transport for most outings.

I would keep the first version small enough to find out. I want to keep “Make enormous paper flowers just for ourselves” manageable for the people involved. It would fit the small version I have in mind. We can enjoy making an attempt without promising a polished outcome.

I would also like to ask a relative whether they would like to record a short memory. For me, I rely on public transport for most outings. That is how I see “Make enormous paper flowers just for ourselves”.

For this wish, Sol Rivera: For audio interviews, I would rather agree a small beginning than promise a long programme. Would that approach suit this wish?

For “Make enormous paper flowers just for ourselves”, I would first settle what each person can comfortably offer. Then I would choose the smallest arrangement that still feels worthwhile.

On “Make enormous paper flowers just for ourselves”, please leave room for someone to have a less positive experience too. I would also like to ask a relative whether they would like to record a short memory.

For this wish, Amol Madan: I would want to hear that without defending every choice. People can share an afternoon and come away wanting different things.
