Then we set a spending limit and compare ideas, not households. Who decides the rules? I would keep it to one agreed afternoon. I am not offering a permanent commentary service on anyone's groceries.

I might just watch the first time. I do not want an invitation that turns into pressure once I arrive. My plan has to fit this: I work some weekends.

I do not need everyone to choose the same version. I want to keep “Hold a low-budget cooking challenge with friends” manageable for the people involved. Then watching needs to remain an option throughout. I should make the invitation match that, rather than say it only to get someone through the door.

For this wish, Antonia Reyes: I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends. For me, I work some weekends.

I want two friends to bring ingredients we already have and make a simple shared meal within an agreed tiny budget. We can award absurd titles instead of scores. I can host for ninety minutes with care arrangements in place; the competition does not need an overtime round.

Would making a TikTok turn this into a performance? I am not sure I would want a camera involved. That is how I see “Hold a low-budget cooking challenge with friends”.

James Chukwu, then we should leave the camera out. A short video is a separate choice, not a condition of joining the activity.

For this wish, Antonia Reyes: I would join the conversation again when the practical details are clearer. No promises beyond that yet. I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends.

For this wish, James Chukwu: That is enough. I can come back with a clearer arrangement and let people decide then, rather than treat interest as attendance.
