Because I would like to cook alongside the story instead of supplying it. The smell can lead for a while. If we write the recipe down, whose version is it and how do they want credit?

I would be up for comparing attempts, even if joining in person is not practical. Would that help? The practical limit is that I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

I can leave that question open until the practical details are clearer. I want to keep “Cook with friends while someone else explains” manageable for the people involved. Comparing a small attempt could work without pretending we are in the same place. We can agree what to share and leave private details out.

Diego Hernández, I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends. For me, I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

I'd like a small lunch with friends where we each cook part of a familiar meal and listen to an old radio comedy we can access legally. This time I want to enjoy the pan and the company. Someone else can answer the questions about teaspoons.

Would making a TikTok turn this into a performance? I am not sure I would want a camera involved. That is how I see “Cook with friends while someone else explains”.

On “Cook with friends while someone else explains”, then we should leave the camera out. A short video is a separate choice, not a condition of joining the activity.

On “Cook with friends while someone else explains”, I am still not completely convinced, but I would read a follow-up after you try it. I would also like to host a plant-based meal with friends.

On “Cook with friends while someone else explains”, that is fair. I would rather return with an honest account of an attempt than ask you to be enthusiastic in advance.
