Ah, the film has an excellent budget: it does not exist. We can invent one scene and give it a little music. I would rather finish that tiny fiction than announce a cinematic empire.

I would be up for comparing attempts, even if joining in person is not practical. Would that help? I usually have more time in the morning. That is how I see “Make soundtracks for films that do not exist”.

I would keep the invitation more modest than the enthusiasm. I want to keep “Make soundtracks for films that do not exist” manageable for the people involved. Comparing a small attempt could work without pretending we are in the same place. We can agree what to share and leave private details out.

I would also like to make a matchday meal with neighbours. I have tried making a little space for football podcasts; the difficult part was keeping the session small enough to repeat.

I'd love an afternoon with friends building playlists for imaginary films and pitching the plots. Mine may be a tragedy about a heroic missing sock. We can share links through services we already use and leave enough time for my shift.

On “Make soundtracks for films that do not exist”, would a YouTube explanation help, or would a short written note be easier to follow?

I would choose the format around the actual question. A video is not automatically clearer, and I would want the essential information available in words too. That is how I see “Make soundtracks for films that do not exist”.

Gabriel Tremblay, no promises, but maybe.

That is fair. I would rather return with an honest account of an attempt than ask you to be enthusiastic in advance. That is how I see “Make soundtracks for films that do not exist”.
