The stories are the wish; buying a particular atmosphere is not. We can read what we already have or borrow. I would like warmth and company without turning them into an expensive setting.

For this wish, Anu Batsaikhan: I would enjoy talking about the attempts afterwards. I am not sure about joining the activity itself. The practical limit is that I need plans with a clear start and finish.

I hear the reservation. I am not asking you to commit just by replying. I want to keep “Read winter stories with friends” manageable for the people involved. That is a useful distinction. A conversation afterwards can be its own invitation, without requiring someone to take part in everything.

I would also like to plan a two-person meetup with an agreed finish time. For me, I need plans with a clear start and finish.

I would like a small indoor evening where friends share a short winter story, real or invented, and bring a little food. I want to write one of my own and have it heard. We can finish early enough to leave everyone some private time.

Anu Batsaikhan, I would welcome someone with practical experience. Is there something comparably small that another person could offer you?

I would keep “Read winter stories with friends” as one small invitation. A different version of a related wish could teach us something without either of us copying the other's whole plan.

I like that this stayed small. My temptation would be to add three more things before starting. I would also like to plan a two-person meetup with an agreed finish time.

For this wish, Catalina Roldan: I would keep the extra ideas somewhere separate. One manageable attempt gives the bigger ideas something to learn from.
