A chair that insists on facing the wall. A table with an escape plan. Too vague? Then one drawing each, with a caption explaining the offence. No furniture will actually be harmed.

I might just watch the first time. I do not want an invitation that turns into pressure once I arrive. This is why I am keeping the plan modest: my work rota changes from week to week.

That gives me something concrete to consider. I want to keep “Draw furniture that behaves badly” manageable for the people involved. Then watching needs to remain an option throughout. I should make the invitation match that, rather than say it only to get someone through the door.

For this wish, Xu An: I would also like to find a bilingual reading group that welcomes learners. For me, my work rota changes from week to week.

I'd like a few classmates to bring unfinished sketches and invent the least convenient chair imaginable. Chair With Opinions. Table That Leaves Early. Can we draw together for an hour without scoring anybody's talent?

For this wish, Xu An: Would you ask Reddit for ideas, or would you worry about advice arriving without any local context?

For this wish, Sonja Hansen: I would treat replies as leads to check, not instructions to trust automatically. Useful suggestions still need to fit the place, people and limits of the plan.

I would join the conversation again when the practical details are clearer. No promises beyond that yet. I would also like to find a bilingual reading group that welcomes learners.

On “Draw furniture that behaves badly”, that is enough. I can come back with a clearer arrangement and let people decide then, rather than treat interest as attendance.
