Pocket-sized! One little monster, one place to live. Can a shoebox become an entire street? Mine may fail the planning inspection, but it should still fit on the table.

I would be up for comparing attempts, even if joining in person is not practical. Would that help? The practical limit is that I rely on public transport for most outings.

I would keep the first version small enough to find out. I want to keep “Make a pocket-sized monster neighbourhood” manageable for the people involved. Comparing a small attempt could work without pretending we are in the same place. We can agree what to share and leave private details out.

Lin Xia, I would also like to make a reusable map from materials I already have. For me, I rely on public transport for most outings.

I'd like friends to join me making little monsters from affordable modelling material we already have. Wonky eyes welcome! We can arrange them into a neighbourhood and invent who borrows whose umbrella. Could we keep the photos just among us?

I am interested in trying collaborative storytelling at a manageable scale. Would you prefer a practical suggestion or just some encouragement today?

“Make a pocket-sized monster neighbourhood” is the starting point, not a promise of a perfect result. I would ask what would make one attempt possible and listen to the answer.

I am still not completely convinced, but I would read a follow-up after you try it. I would also like to make a reusable map from materials I already have. That is how I see “Make a pocket-sized monster neighbourhood”.

Henry Omondi, that is fair. I would rather return with an honest account of an attempt than ask you to be enthusiastic in advance.
