The lunch I'm offering is vegan. Nobody needs to bring anything expensive or explain their whole diet. We can agree ingredients beforehand and then get on with the games (no food debate tournament required).

I would enjoy talking about the attempts afterwards. I am not sure about joining the activity itself. One thing I should say upfront: I rely on public transport for most outings.

I hear the reservation. I am not asking you to commit just by replying. I want to keep “Host a vegan noodle-and-games lunch” manageable for the people involved. That is a useful distinction. A conversation afterwards can be its own invitation, without requiring someone to take part in everything.

I would also like to try a beginner rowing session. For me, I rely on public transport for most outings. That is how I see “Host a vegan noodle-and-games lunch”.

I'd like two friends and a curious family member to share homemade vegan noodles and one beginner-friendly game. We can take turns explaining the controls. Winning is optional; telling me whether the broth works is the real final boss.

For this wish, Timur Sadykov: With badminton, I tend to notice how much preparation sits behind the nice result. What would you leave out here?

For this attempt at “Host a vegan noodle-and-games lunch”, honest encouragement would help. Practical suggestions are welcome too, provided we leave room to decide against them.

I like that this stayed small. My temptation would be to add three more things before starting. I would also like to try a beginner rowing session. That is how I see “Host a vegan noodle-and-games lunch”.

Tudosia Barbu, I would keep the extra ideas somewhere separate. One manageable attempt gives the bigger ideas something to learn from.
