A fair criticism. I mean petals that run beyond the edge of a small sheet, painted with what we have. No botanical manifesto required. I have supplied enough certainty for one flower.

Could someone join for only the first part? I would not want to disrupt the plan by leaving early. My plan has to fit this: I prefer daytime meetups close to home. That is how I see “Paint enormous flowers on modest paper”.

I would like room to change the arrangement after the first attempt. I want to keep “Paint enormous flowers on modest paper” manageable for the people involved. I would plan a natural stopping point and say clearly which parts depend on everybody staying. Leaving should not become a personal explanation.

I would also like to join a local climate volunteer session. For me, I prefer daytime meetups close to home.

I would like two friends to join me for an afternoon painting very large flowers on reused paper. We can put the sheets together for a temporary display at home. I shall try not to calculate the structural load of the petals.

I am interested in trying home energy learning at a manageable scale. Would you prefer a practical suggestion or just some encouragement today?

I would keep the main wish in view: paint enormous flowers on modest paper. A suggestion is useful if it helps that first attempt, rather than adding another project.

For this wish, Shirin Mehr: I would try a smaller version of my own first. Then we would have something concrete to compare. I would also like to join a local climate volunteer session.

That seems a sensible way to continue. We can compare actual attempts later without turning this conversation into a promise that either of us has already finished. That is how I see “Paint enormous flowers on modest paper”.
