Yes. Watching should be a real option, not a polite invitation followed by pressure to participate. One thing I should say upfront: I need plans with a clear start and finish.

For this wish, Dennis Johansson: Good. Being told to jump straight in usually makes me leave. I might just watch the first time. I do not want an invitation that turns into pressure once I arrive.

I want to give it a try without pretending the concerns have vanished. With library visits, I am keen to learn with others. Then watching needs to remain an option throughout. I should make the invitation match that, rather than say it only to get someone through the door.

I would also like to reread a favourite passage and write down why it matters. I have tried making a little space for library visits; the difficult part was keeping the session small enough to repeat. I work as a support worker, and I need step-free venues for in-person plans. The help I would welcome is a welcoming local recommendation. I am trying to leave enough room for the ordinary parts of the week, so I would rather compare one modest attempt than agree to a bigger commitment before I know it fits.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to make a small reading list from library recommendations. My plan has to fit this: I need plans with a clear start and finish.

On “Make a small reading list from library recommendations”, I would welcome a welcoming local recommendation. Is there something comparably small that another person could offer you?

For “Make a small reading list from library recommendations”, I would first settle what each person can comfortably offer. Then I would choose the smallest arrangement that still feels worthwhile.

I would join the conversation again when the practical details are clearer. No promises beyond that yet. I would also like to reread a favourite passage and write down why it matters.

Josefa Karz, that is enough. I can come back with a clearer arrangement and let people decide then, rather than treat interest as attendance. The help I would value is a patient practice partner.
