Share something I learn about bilingual reading

A useful note or a small example could help another beginner. I want to try it myself first.

I would like to plan a language exchange with equal time for both learners, so this feels familiar. Could you still call this worthwhile if the result was a bit rubbish?

Yes, if we enjoyed the time and learnt what to change. I would not pretend a poor result was excellent, though. For me, my work rota changes from week to week.

If there is a way to join a small version, I would be interested. What would you need to know first? The practical limit is that my work rota changes from week to week.

I would rather hear that now than discover it halfway through. With bilingual reading, I am comfortable with the basics. We would need to agree the practical details and whether it suits both of us. Interest here is not a booking or an obligation.

I would also like to plan a language exchange with equal time for both learners. For me, my work rota changes from week to week.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to plan a language exchange with equal time for both learners. My work rota changes from week to week.

My own aim is to plan a language exchange with equal time for both learners. Which part of your plan could we compare without assuming they are the same activity?

I do not think “Share something I learn about bilingual reading” needs to grow before it is worth trying. I would welcome a small practical suggestion and keep the extra possibilities for later.

Shay Stuart, what would make you change the first version after hearing all this? For my own plan, my work rota changes from week to week.

I would change whatever makes joining harder without adding much to the experience. The main wish can stay; the arrangement does not have to be fixed. The help I would value is a useful beginner resource. That is how I see “Share something I learn about bilingual reading”.
