I would start there rather than inventing explanations from guesses. Learning the language and respecting its community belong together. For me, I rely on public transport for most outings.

Rodrigo López, if there is a way to join a small version, I would be interested. What would you need to know first? One thing I should say upfront: I need plans with a clear start and finish.

The useful part of this conversation is making the limits visible. With Deaf culture learning, I am a regular amateur. We would need to agree the practical details and whether it suits both of us. Interest here is not a booking or an obligation.

I would also like to ask a local organisation about accessible beginner events. For me, I need plans with a clear start and finish.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to ask a local organisation about accessible beginner events. My plan has to fit this: I rely on public transport for most outings.

My own aim is to ask a local organisation about accessible beginner events. Which part of your plan could we compare without assuming they are the same activity?

I would protect the time together in “Find a workable first step for Deaf culture learning”. The exact result matters less to me than an arrangement people can enjoy without pressure.

On “Find a workable first step for Deaf culture learning”, what would make you change the first version after hearing all this? For my own plan, I need plans with a clear start and finish.

On “Find a workable first step for Deaf culture learning”, I would change whatever makes joining harder without adding much to the experience. The main wish can stay; the arrangement does not have to be fixed. The help I would value is a useful beginner resource.
