Yes, if we enjoyed the time and learnt what to change. I would not pretend a poor result was excellent, though. For me, I am rebuilding confidence after a long break.

If there is a way to join a small version, I would be interested. What would you need to know first? This is why I am keeping the plan modest: I need plans with a clear start and finish.

I would rather hear that now than discover it halfway through. With pottery, I am keen to learn with others. We would need to agree the practical details and whether it suits both of us. Interest here is not a booking or an obligation.

I would also like to try a beginner pottery workshop. For me, I need plans with a clear start and finish.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to finish a small handmade gift. This is why I am keeping the plan modest: I am rebuilding confidence after a long break.

Would you want me to bring suggestions from pottery, or would that pull your plan in the wrong direction? That is how I see “Find a workable first step for pottery”.

For “Find a workable first step for pottery”, I would first settle what each person can comfortably offer. Then I would choose the smallest arrangement that still feels worthwhile.

I'd read a follow-up, Victoria Lester.

I would change whatever makes joining harder without adding much to the experience. The main wish can stay; the arrangement does not have to be fixed. The help I would value is company for a quiet making session.
