Yes, if we enjoyed the time and learnt what to change. I would not pretend a poor result was excellent, though. For me, I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

If there is a way to join a small version, I would be interested. What would you need to know first? I need to allow for this: I do best with short sessions and breaks.

The useful part of this conversation is making the limits visible. With mountain biking, I am returning after a break. We would need to agree the practical details and whether it suits both of us. Interest here is not a booking or an obligation.

I would also like to learn basic skateboard balance in a permitted practice area. For me, I do best with short sessions and breaks.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to plan my first supervised snowboarding lesson. I need to allow for this: I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

On “Find a workable first step for mountain biking”, would you put this on LinkedIn, or would that make a small personal wish feel like a work achievement?

On “Find a workable first step for mountain biking”, I would share a useful lesson there only if I wanted that audience. I do not want every pleasant activity to become evidence of professional productivity.

On “Find a workable first step for mountain biking”, what would make you change the first version after hearing all this? For my own plan, I do best with short sessions and breaks.

I would change whatever makes joining harder without adding much to the experience. The main wish can stay; the arrangement does not have to be fixed. The help I would value is advice about borrowing suitable equipment.
