I would ask what they need before saying the plan works for them. If I cannot make it suitable, I should say that plainly. My plan has to fit this: I am rebuilding confidence after a long break.

Please keep that honesty. A cheerful yes is not much help when the details do not match. I would like to try something similar where I am. Would you mind comparing what needs adapting? That is how I see “Keep a simple seasonal nature notebook”.

I can work with that distinction. With birdwatching, I am experienced but still curious. That would be useful. We should compare the conditions instead of assuming the same arrangement works in both places.

I would also like to identify five birds in a nearby park. I have tried making a little space for birdwatching; the difficult part was keeping the session small enough to repeat.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to keep a simple seasonal nature notebook. The practical limit is that I am rebuilding confidence after a long break.

I would like to hear more about the part you actually enjoy in keep a simple seasonal nature notebook. What would you protect if the plan had to shrink?

I would keep “Keep a simple seasonal nature notebook” as one small invitation. A different version of a related wish could teach us something without either of us copying the other's whole plan.

Gregory Martin, I think the company is the part I would keep, even if the rest changed. For my own plan, I prefer quieter places and smaller groups.

That helps me separate the purpose from the details. I can alter the activity without losing the reason for wanting to meet. The help I would value is someone who enjoys stopping to look closely.
