I would ask what they need before saying the plan works for them. If I cannot make it suitable, I should say that plainly. I need to allow for this: I have limited room for equipment at home.

I like the idea, but I cannot promise to turn up. Can I stay in the conversation without saying yes? I need to allow for this: I work some weekends.

I do not need everyone to choose the same version. With community gardening, I am experienced but still curious. Yes. Staying curious is enough for now. I would rather have an honest maybe than a yes that makes someone uncomfortable.

麗珠 陳, I would also like to learn how to read my home energy use. For me, I work some weekends.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to compare evidence before choosing one household change. I cannot ignore the fact that I have limited room for equipment at home.

On “Find a workable first step for community gardening”, would making a TikTok turn this into a performance? I am not sure I would want a camera involved.

Then we should leave the camera out. A short video is a separate choice, not a condition of joining the activity. That is how I see “Find a workable first step for community gardening”.

Count me as interested, 麗珠 陳.

On “Find a workable first step for community gardening”, yes. I want to keep track of what was workable, what took more effort than expected and what I would leave out next time. The help I would value is a reliable local contact.
