No. Listening, helping with a small job or simply being there can count. I do not want everyone performing participation. One thing I should say upfront: I usually have more time in the morning.

I might just watch the first time. I do not want an invitation that turns into pressure once I arrive. This is why I am keeping the plan modest: I work some weekends.

That gives me something concrete to consider. With swimming, I am a regular amateur. Then watching needs to remain an option throughout. I should make the invitation match that, rather than say it only to get someone through the door.

I would also like to finish a local 5 km at a comfortable pace. For me, I work some weekends. That is how I see “Find a workable first step for swimming”.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to complete a weekend cycling route. This is why I am keeping the plan modest: I usually have more time in the morning.

Would a YouTube explanation help, or would a short written note be easier to follow? That is how I see “Find a workable first step for swimming”.

Regina Payne, I would choose the format around the actual question. A video is not automatically clearer, and I would want the essential information available in words too.

Count me as interested, Ida Benthin.

On “Find a workable first step for swimming”, that is enough. I can come back with a clearer arrangement and let people decide then, rather than treat interest as attendance. The help I would value is a patient training partner.
