Pierina Baglioni, yes, including small costs that are easy to forget. I would distinguish what we already had from what somebody had to buy. I cannot ignore the fact that I prefer borrowing equipment before buying it.

Could someone join for only the first part? I would not want to disrupt the plan by leaving early. This is why I am keeping the plan modest: I am rebuilding confidence after a long break. That is how I see “Find a workable first step for shared meals”.

I would like room to change the arrangement after the first attempt. With shared meals, I am experienced but still curious. I would plan a natural stopping point and say clearly which parts depend on everybody staying. Leaving should not become a personal explanation.

I would also like to make weekday lunches less repetitive. For me, I am rebuilding confidence after a long break. That is how I see “Find a workable first step for shared meals”.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to learn a reliable everyday bread recipe. My plan has to fit this: I prefer borrowing equipment before buying it.

On “Find a workable first step for shared meals”, would you ask Reddit for ideas, or would you worry about advice arriving without any local context?
Reply to Pierina Baglioni
Pierina Baglioni, I would treat replies as leads to check, not instructions to trust automatically. Useful suggestions still need to fit the place, people and limits of the plan.

On “Find a workable first step for shared meals”, that seems a sensible way to continue. We can compare actual attempts later without turning this conversation into a promise that either of us has already finished. The help I would value is an affordable ingredient substitution.
