On “Find a workable first step for kayaking”, suggestions are welcome if they fit the small version of the plan. I am not looking to turn it into a bigger project. My plan has to fit this: I prefer quieter places and smaller groups.

I would like to try something similar where I am. Would you mind comparing what needs adapting? The practical limit is that I need plans with a clear start and finish.

I would rather hear that now than discover it halfway through. With kayaking, I am experienced but still curious. That would be useful. We should compare the conditions instead of assuming the same arrangement works in both places.

I would also like to learn to check equipment before climbing. For me, I need plans with a clear start and finish.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to plan my first supervised snowboarding lesson. I prefer quieter places and smaller groups.

I am interested in trying kayaking at a manageable scale. Would you prefer a practical suggestion or just some encouragement today?

I would keep the main wish in view: find a workable first step for kayaking. A suggestion is useful if it helps that first attempt, rather than adding another project.

Purity Mahat, keep the small version.

On “Find a workable first step for kayaking”, that helps me separate the purpose from the details. I can alter the activity without losing the reason for wanting to meet. The help I would value is a reputable instructor recommendation.
