No. Agreeing a plan should not require explaining private circumstances. We can make arrivals and departures straightforward. One thing I should say upfront: I have limited room for equipment at home.

For this wish, Teófila Bello: I might just watch the first time. I do not want an invitation that turns into pressure once I arrive. My plan has to fit this: I usually have more time in the morning.

I do not need everyone to choose the same version. With racing simulators, I am comfortable with the basics. Then watching needs to remain an option throughout. I should make the invitation match that, rather than say it only to get someone through the door.

I would also like to learn the basics of a new strategy game. For me, I usually have more time in the morning.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to learn the basics of a new strategy game. I have limited room for equipment at home.

On “Find a workable first step for racing simulators”, would you ask Reddit for ideas, or would you worry about advice arriving without any local context?

On “Find a workable first step for racing simulators”, I would treat replies as leads to check, not instructions to trust automatically. Useful suggestions still need to fit the place, people and limits of the plan.

Teófila Bello, that sounds manageable.

That is enough. I can come back with a clearer arrangement and let people decide then, rather than treat interest as attendance. The help I would value is beginner-friendly coaching resources.
