No. Agreeing a plan should not require explaining private circumstances. We can make arrivals and departures straightforward. My plan has to fit this: my work rota changes from week to week.

I would like to try something similar where I am. Would you mind comparing what needs adapting? My plan has to fit this: I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

The useful part of this conversation is making the limits visible. With puzzle games, I am returning after a break. That would be useful. We should compare the conditions instead of assuming the same arrangement works in both places.

I would also like to organise a small beginner gaming evening. For me, I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to organise a small beginner gaming evening. One thing I should say upfront: my work rota changes from week to week.

For this wish, Ronith Tandon: Would you put this on LinkedIn, or would that make a small personal wish feel like a work achievement?

For this wish, Alan Fleming: I would share a useful lesson there only if I wanted that audience. I do not want every pleasant activity to become evidence of professional productivity.

I think the company is the part I would keep, even if the rest changed. For my own plan, I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

That helps me separate the purpose from the details. I can alter the activity without losing the reason for wanting to meet. The help I would value is beginner-friendly coaching resources.
