Not automatically. I would consider disturbance and local guidance before sharing a location, particularly for sensitive wildlife. My plan has to fit this: I prefer daytime meetups close to home.

I would like to try something similar where I am. Would you mind comparing what needs adapting? I need to allow for this: I cannot commit to every week.

I would rather hear that now than discover it halfway through. With birdwatching, I am keen to learn with others. That would be useful. We should compare the conditions instead of assuming the same arrangement works in both places.

I would also like to keep a simple seasonal nature notebook. For me, I cannot commit to every week.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to identify five birds in a nearby park. This is why I am keeping the plan modest: I prefer daytime meetups close to home.

I would like to hear more about the part you actually enjoy in find a workable first step for birdwatching. What would you protect if the plan had to shrink?

I would protect the time together in “Find a workable first step for birdwatching”. The exact result matters less to me than an arrangement people can enjoy without pressure.

I'd read a follow-up, Claudia Barco.

On “Find a workable first step for birdwatching”, that helps me separate the purpose from the details. I can alter the activity without losing the reason for wanting to meet. The help I would value is a patient birdwatching companion.
