No. Agreeing a plan should not require explaining private circumstances. We can make arrivals and departures straightforward. I need to allow for this: I prefer daytime meetups close to home.

That little detail would make me more likely to try it. I like the idea, but I cannot promise to turn up. Can I stay in the conversation without saying yes?

I want to give it a try without pretending the concerns have vanished. With seasonal vegetables, I am just starting. Yes. Staying curious is enough for now. I would rather have an honest maybe than a yes that makes someone uncomfortable.

I would also like to plan affordable vegan lunches for a busy week. I have tried making a little space for seasonal vegetables; the difficult part was keeping the session small enough to repeat. I work as a cook, and I work some weekends. The help I would welcome is a practical ingredient swap. I am trying to leave enough room for the ordinary parts of the week, so I would rather compare one modest attempt than agree to a bigger commitment before I know it fits.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to learn to cook a bean variety I have not tried. I cannot ignore the fact that I prefer daytime meetups close to home.

Would you put this on LinkedIn, or would that make a small personal wish feel like a work achievement? That is how I see “Share something I learn about seasonal vegetables”.

On “Share something I learn about seasonal vegetables”, I would share a useful lesson there only if I wanted that audience. I do not want every pleasant activity to become evidence of professional productivity.

I'm still unsure, Abilio Cardona.

For this wish, Theresa Prince: Yes. I want to keep track of what was workable, what took more effort than expected and what I would leave out next time. The help I would value is a practical ingredient swap.
