I would keep the first version small enough to find out. With day hiking, I am just starting. It would fit the small version I have in mind. We can enjoy making an attempt without promising a polished outcome.

I would want to hear that without defending every choice. People can share an afternoon and come away wanting different things. The help I would value is a patient birdwatching companion.
