That would be my first option. I want to check what is already available before turning a small wish into a shopping list. I need to allow for this: I do best with short sessions and breaks.

I like the idea, but I cannot promise to turn up. Can I stay in the conversation without saying yes? I cannot ignore the fact that I am still finding my way around a new neighbourhood.

I do not need everyone to choose the same version. With bread baking, I am comfortable with the basics. Yes. Staying curious is enough for now. I would rather have an honest maybe than a yes that makes someone uncomfortable.

I would also like to reduce food waste with a useful leftovers routine. For me, I am still finding my way around a new neighbourhood.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to host a small meal that suits everyone’s dietary needs. The practical limit is that I do best with short sessions and breaks.

For this wish, Vasile Dochioiu: With bread baking, I tend to notice how much preparation sits behind the nice result. What would you leave out here?

I would keep the main wish in view: host a small meal that suits everyone’s dietary needs. A suggestion is useful if it helps that first attempt, rather than adding another project.

Could the next update include the awkward bits as well as what went well? I would also like to reduce food waste with a useful leftovers routine.

Yes. I want to keep track of what was workable, what took more effort than expected and what I would leave out next time. The help I would value is a tested beginner recipe.
