Yes, if we enjoyed the time and learnt what to change. I would not pretend a poor result was excellent, though. My plan has to fit this: I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

That is a better answer than insisting everything has to be wonderful. I would like to try something similar where I am. Would you mind comparing what needs adapting?

I can work with that distinction. With plant-based food swaps, I am just starting. That would be useful. We should compare the conditions instead of assuming the same arrangement works in both places.

I would also like to adapt a favourite family dish thoughtfully. I have tried making a little space for plant-based food swaps; the difficult part was keeping the session small enough to repeat.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to host a plant-based meal with friends. For me, I keep a small monthly hobby budget.

I would like to hear more about the part you actually enjoy in host a plant-based meal with friends. What would you protect if the plan had to shrink?

The part I want to try is already in “Host a plant-based meal with friends”. I would rather make room for that than collect more ideas I cannot fit into the day.

I think the company is the part I would keep, even if the rest changed. For my own plan, I rely on public transport for most outings.

That helps me separate the purpose from the details. I can alter the activity without losing the reason for wanting to meet. The help I would value is a practical ingredient swap.
