I would welcome practical questions and keep the discussion on the food. Nobody needs to defend their whole life to ask about an ingredient. I usually have more time in the morning.

I am interested in the company, less in producing a polished result. Would that fit? For me, I rely on public transport for most outings.

Isaque Rocha, I would keep the first version small enough to find out. With vegan lunches, I am a regular amateur. It would fit the small version I have in mind. We can enjoy making an attempt without promising a polished outcome.

I would also like to learn to cook a bean variety I have not tried. For me, I rely on public transport for most outings. That is how I see “Find a workable first step for vegan lunches”.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to adapt a favourite family dish thoughtfully. One thing I should say upfront: I usually have more time in the morning.

For this wish, Jacqueline Lyons: Would a Facebook conversation help find local company, or would you rather agree the details here?
Reply to Isaque Rocha
Isaque Rocha, I would use a wider conversation to find interest, then keep one clear place for the actual arrangements. I do not want people comparing several conflicting versions.

Please leave room for someone to have a less positive experience too. I would also like to learn to cook a bean variety I have not tried.

For this wish, Isaque Rocha: I would want to hear that without defending every choice. People can share an afternoon and come away wanting different things. The help I would value is a practical ingredient swap.
