On “Learn a sustainable strength routine”, I should name the preparation jobs before asking anyone to join. Shared time should include the clearing away too. The practical limit is that I need step-free venues for in-person plans.

That is the part people forget. I would rather have fewer activities and shared cleanup. I would be up for comparing attempts, even if joining in person is not practical. Would that help? That is how I see “Learn a sustainable strength routine”.

I would keep the invitation more modest than the enthusiasm. With badminton, I am keen to learn with others. Comparing a small attempt could work without pretending we are in the same place. We can agree what to share and leave private details out.

I would also like to finish a local 5 km at a comfortable pace. I have tried making a little space for badminton; the difficult part was keeping the session small enough to repeat.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to learn a sustainable strength routine. My plan has to fit this: I need step-free venues for in-person plans.

I would welcome a patient training partner. Is there something comparably small that another person could offer you?

For this attempt at “Learn a sustainable strength routine”, honest encouragement would help. Practical suggestions are welcome too, provided we leave room to decide against them.

I am still not completely convinced, but I would read a follow-up after you try it. I would also like to finish a local 5 km at a comfortable pace.

That is fair. I would rather return with an honest account of an attempt than ask you to be enthusiastic in advance. The help I would value is a realistic weekly plan.
