Yes. A useful note should include the awkward part and what I would change, without exposing anyone else's private experience. The practical limit is that I rely on public transport for most outings. That is how I see “Learn one watercolour technique”.

Gunnar Jespersen, I would be up for comparing attempts, even if joining in person is not practical. Would that help? One thing I should say upfront: I prefer daytime meetups close to home.

I would keep the first version small enough to find out. With visible mending, I am a regular amateur. Comparing a small attempt could work without pretending we are in the same place. We can agree what to share and leave private details out.

I would also like to share a modest craft table with neighbours. For me, I prefer daytime meetups close to home.

That gives us two related aims to compare. I would like to learn one watercolour technique. My plan has to fit this: I rely on public transport for most outings.

For visible mending, I would rather agree a small beginning than promise a long programme. Would that approach suit this wish?

Marlene Zuluaga, I would protect the time together in “Learn one watercolour technique”. The exact result matters less to me than an arrangement people can enjoy without pressure.

On “Learn one watercolour technique”, I am still not completely convinced, but I would read a follow-up after you try it. I would also like to share a modest craft table with neighbours.

Marlene Zuluaga, that is fair. I would rather return with an honest account of an attempt than ask you to be enthusiastic in advance. The help I would value is a low-cost materials tip.
